Build your empire in the world of ants. Construct vast underground chambers and tunnels (an ant nest) and develop the most complex social organization ever to be found (the hierarchy) all in a manner that gives an insight into what the real-time strategy genre is really all about. Lead different species of soldier ants into savage combat; give orders to your workers to construct and maintain an operational base of labyrinthine proportions while collecting constant supplies, and protect the queen from every danger known to insect-dom.
Nightfall comes, and the last of the workers scurry back underground with the rest of the day’s catch, darting past beetles as they do so. The stockpile has been exhausted, and without any more reserves, reinforcements will not be hatched for this ongoing war between rival Empires of the Undergrowth.
