A third-person science fiction survival horror game would immerse players into the utmost psychological terror plus grisly action. The setting in this deep space void of any warmth is laden with tension, a feeling of dread, and pure horror that permeates the atmosphere.
Dead Space features Isaac Clarke as an engineer who is just a regular man assigned what appears to be a mundane task: repairing communication systems on a spacecraft. It does not take long before Isaac wakes up to a reality that is worse than any nightmare when he discovers that the crew of the ship has been completely wiped out by an alien infestation. To survive, he has to make his way through the dead silence and darkness of space. The game details the story of how this seemingly ordinary man fights for survival in extraordinary circumstances after learning about the destruction caused by extraterrestrial beings to people living on the ship, which forces him to act differently from how he usually would back home with others around him helping out every step they can.
