The story of Darksiders II narrates the deeds of Death one of the quartet representing the four horsemen of the Apocalypse in a narrative that intertwines with the prequel events in the first Darksiders game. In this monumental odyssey, Death is journeyed through numerous realms, including those bathed in light and shrouded in darkness. His mission is to vindicate his brother War who, as depicted by Darksiders, was accused of kickstarting the Apocalypse before its time. The quest for retribution unfolds amidst otherworldly landscapes where death dances amongst angels and demons alike.
Darksiders II introduces a significantly larger world along with complete weapon and armor upgrade systems. It also features bigger dungeons, more challenging enemies, new bosses and a great number of additional adversaries. The aim of Darksiders II is to address and improve upon all the aspects that were part of its predecessor, the original hit game.
